Scooch Product Warranty

Effective date: August 25, 2017

The following warranty applies to Scooch, LLC (“Scooch”) products that meet all of the following conditions: (a) the product was purchased by the consumer directly from Scooch through the scoochcase.com website or Scooch’s Amazon storefront, or from an authorized retailer who purchased the product directly from an authorized Scooch distributor, and from no other source; and (b) the product was in its original, unopened and new condition at the time of purchase by the consumer. By way of example only, products purchased from third party resellers on-line through Amazon, eBay, Walmart.com or any other online service are not covered by any Scooch warranty.

Scooch warrants our products against defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from the original date of purchase of the product by a consumer. This limited warranty is non-transferrable from the original end purchaser and an original copy of a sales receipt from the original Scooch authorized reseller, or the order number if purchased directly from Scooch, is required for any warranty claim, in addition to a picture of the defect. If the purchaser cannot produce both a receipt and a photo, a shipping and handling charge of $6.99 will be applied to replace the case. If the purchaser cannot produce either a receipt or a photo, the warranty does not apply.

The limited warranty not does not cover Scooch product that has been mishandled or misused in ways other than its intended purpose. The limited warranty does not cover product that has been altered or modified in any way. Scooch is not responsible for any products or devices made by anyone other than Scooch including counterfeit Scooch products, smartphones, tablets, or other portable electronic devices. Scooch is not responsible for any replacement or cost of such electronic devices or property that comes into contact with Scooch products. If a warranty claim is approved, Scooch will either replace the defective product or repair it so it is returned to its original specifications within 30 days after receipt of the product and all documentation and other information required by Scooch. The consumer is responsible for costs to ship the product and documentation to Scooch. Scooch will cover the cost of any parts, labor or shipping costs associated with replacing or repairing the product and shipping it from Scooch to the consumer. If the original product is no longer available or out of stock, Scooch reserves the right to replace the defective product with a replacement product of equal or greater value. Replacement products are warranted as above for the remainder of the original applicable product warranty period.

The above limited warranty is the only warranty made by Scooch. Scooch expressly disclaims all other representations, guarantees and warranties, express or implied in fact or by law, including all warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The above limited warranty states Scooch’s entire and exclusive liability, and the consumer’s sole and exclusive remedy, in connection with Scooch products, their design, suitability for use, and operation. Scooch shall not be liable under any theory of relief, including breach of warranty, breach of contract, tort (including negligence) or strict liability, for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages whatsoever. No agreement or understanding varying the above limited warranty will be binding on Scooch unless it is in writing signed by an officer of Scooch. To the extent that Scooch cannot disclaim a warranty as a matter of applicable law, the scope and duration of Scooch’s warranty will be the minimum permitted under such law.

Submitting a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim send an email to support@scoochcase.com and include the following in the email:

– The words “warranty claim” in the subject line of the email.

– A picture of the sales receipt, proof of purchase, or the order number from scoochcase.com.

– A picture of the defective part or product, along with a description of what is wrong.

– Your name and address.
